Car PC projects coming up soon
Here you can download the latest versions of various projects I am working on.
Currently, all of these are for StreetDeck, but frontend agnostic utilities/mods are in the works.
Calendar DigitalMod for StreetDeck
A simple calendar DigitalMod for StreetDeck, shows a month at a time.
Traffic data DigitalMod for StreetDeck
This DigitalMod overlays traffic data onto StreetDeck navigation module. Currently, only offline data is supported.
To obtain the offline data you will need the TrafficClient application. This DigitalMod is alpha, use at your own risk!
Movie locator DigitalMod for StreetDeck
A DigitalMod for StreetDeck to download movie times in the specified zipcode.
Defaults to the current GPS zipcode (NAV capable StreetDeck required) but a specific zipcode can be entered as well.
New: Added caching support for the movie times. Once the movie times are successfully downloaded they are cached to disk. If no internet connection is detected on future downloads the cached data is loaded. Date and time of the cache data is shown for reference.
IBus Monitor DigitalMod for StreetDeck
This DigitalMod allows you add BMW IBus support to StreetDeck.
Many messages are decoded, but most interesting ones are: steering wheel controls, outside and coolant temperature, speed for speed volume control,
light status for automatic day/night mode switching, monitoring of time to keep your PC time in sync with OBC time.
Several messages are currently not utilized such as wipers, defroster, door status, etc. Let me know if you have ideas how to make these useful.
Tested on E46, not all function may work on other models.
Speed Sensitive Volume control DigitalMod for StreetDeck
Automatically adjusts volume based on the speed of the vehicle. Requires GPS for speed signal
BMW E46 skin for StreetDeck
BMW E92 skin for StreetDeck
VW skin for StreetDeck

Want to buy me a beer?
Actually, I don't drink beer but I promise to use the money for something just as good; for example, cool hardware design for CarPC (oh, yes, I do hardware as well!)
